Illegal parking (where the vehicle overstays the permitted time) occurs in streets in Beacon Cove. It is a particular problem for residents near Station Pier.
The BCNA recommends that residents report illegal parking to the City of Port Phillip (CoPP) on 9209 6777 from 7am to 11pm on weekdays and weekends. Follow the prompts to ‘parking enquiries’, ‘parking fines and tickets’, ‘all other enquiries’) to speak to a CoPP officer who will arrange for a Parking Officer to assess the situation. This action will assist the CoPP to develop more accurate records on the extent of the problem. In time, this should lead to better policies to discourage illegal parking.
