Reminder - Submissions Due Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework

Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework
    City of Port Phillip
    Reminder - Submissions Due 1st June 2013

As advised on the13th May via an email from the Secretary, BCNA, the closing date for Council acceptances of submissions on the draft CoPP Port Melbourne Waterfront Urban Design Framework (as approved for consultation) is nominally 1st June 2013.

Our BCNA President has consulted with Council officers and received assurance that CoPP will consider submissions received subsequent to this date. Sooner rather than later would be wise as we have no indication as to how long this extension will apply.

Note that this Framework includes Beacon Cove Promenade, Princes Pier and the Bay and Beach Street Hub, but excludes privately owned property e.g. 1- 7 Waterfront Place, there being a quite separate process for establishment of CoPP's position in relation to this area.

Those who have previously forwarded submission to Council on the Port Melbourne Waterfront UDF (which then included 1- 7 Waterfront Place) will need to resubmit for this latest round
That is, you may wish to prepare a new submission or resubmit previous correspondence deleting reference to 1 - 7 Waterfront Place or resubmit previous correspondence acknowledging to Council that you are aware that references to 1-7 Waterfront Place are not directly relevant to the current consultation process.

Click here to go the CoPP website page with full details of the 2013 framework and see further down the page on how you can make a submission.
